Vollrath 69814 Description
The Vollrath 69814 Tribute® frying pan has a vented handle with a silicone sleeve that stays cool to the touch to protect the operator from heat. Permanently bonded by rivets, this handle withstands heat to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. With the three-layer construction, the pan is durable, corrosion resistant, and has an even heat pattern from the bottom to the side walls.

Best tri-ply buy.
Vollrath's tribute line is the thickest, most even-heating tri-ply clad cookware that I have found. I occasionally see a review that complains about the bottom not being perfectly flat, but the item I received was flat on the bottom. Large skillets let you spread the food out so it browns instead of steams. Properly used, Tribute pans don't scorch, they're as even-heating as your burner will permit, and if you get the heat right, they don't stick. No bare metal pan is as nonstick as Teflon under all circumstances. If you need to start with a cold pan, Stainless Steel is not the best choice. But, correctly pre-heated, a touch of oil, stainless releases quite well indeed.
A big pan for big fish to fry!
Needed a larger even heating pan, but didn't want aluminum or teflon. This one does the trick. Not for small cooks!! This pan is definitely big and heavy.
