Vollrath 59949 Description
Giving chefs a solid option with which to make stir-fry dishes, the Vollrath 59949 stir fry pan has deep curved sides that are great for Asian cooking. Because the side walls slope to a flat bottom, the pan can rest on its own, and it is induction ready, meaning it can be used with induction cooktops and ranges. In order to protect chefs working with the hot pan, the handle is insulated with silicone. Made of carbon steel, the strong pan quickly distributes heat.

This is a great wok and stir-fry pan
It weighs 2 lbs 8.2 oz and has tall sloping sides, perfect for tossing stir fry and everything else. It is easy to season and and a delight to use. The handle is held on firmly with two rivets (some pictures show four rivets). It is a good size for one or two people. It is a shame that, with shipping, it is so expensive. And it was not shipped properly (loose without packing materials rattling around alone in a cardboard box). But, luckily, it survived the journey and and now sits proudly in a place of honor on my range.
