The Turbo Air TOM-50 open air merchandiser has a durable, white exterior with a stainless steel interior that is easy to clean. Four stainless steel shelves are adjustable in 1-inch increments to accommodate products. The back wall and top on the inside of the cabinet are perforated for ideal airflow so products stay uniformly cooled. LED lights in the cabinet make products easy to see. Cold air stays in the cabinet because of the foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. A night curtain is included with the unit to conserve energy during closed hours.

The bottom-mounted refrigeration system is easily accessible for servicing. R-404A refrigerant is used to maintain cool temperatures in the cabinet. The condenser is self-cleaning to prevent debris and dust from building up on it and the coils, which could lead to system failure. Air is taken in at the front of the unit and discharged at the rear. The Turbo Air TOM-50 open air merchandiser has a hot gas condensate system that has treated surfaces to resist corrosion, preventing refrigerant leaks and water from overflowing.
