Because the Hatco HBGB-24818 heated glass shelf can be installed into a metallic countertop cutout as large as 24.88 inches wide by 18.88 inches deep, it's a practical solution for buffet lines and pass-through stations requiring an additional heated surface. This 25 5⁄8-inch-wide by 19 5⁄8-inch-deep by 2 1⁄5-inch-high unit features a thermostatically controlled, food-safe glass top that enables contents to be placed directly on its surface to maximize heating and enhance presentation. Its sleek black design adds an upscale flair to self-service areas; operators can choose from a Designer black, Designer white, or stainless steel trim mounting ring to match established themes.
The Hatco HBGB-24818 heated shelf's glass surface distributes heat evenly to eliminate cold spots that could affect food quality. To ensure foods are held at safe serving temperatures for short periods, operators can adjust temperatures from 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit with the thermostatic control. The control box includes a 3-foot conduit, a 6-foot cord and plug, and a power rocker switch that glows when the unit is in use so staff can quickly determine its power status.
