The Amana HDC18SD2 programmable microwave oven features a 10-button touch control pad with the ability to program as many as 100 menu items, ensuring consistent cooking results. With 1800 watts of power, 11 power levels, four cooking stages, and a defrost mode at 20-percent power, this microwave oven is efficient and powerful enough for high-volume applications. The one-touch programming and automatic capability to cook as many as twice the usual food portions reduces prep time. Measuring 0.6 cubic foot, the interior capacity accommodates a standard half-size cooking pan.
The Amana HDC18SD2 programmable microwave oven has a 60-minute, HD full-color LCD display countdown timer with time entry and an end-of-cycle audible signal. Two magnetrons, each with a rotating antenna, provide even heating. Constructed with a stainless steel exterior, this microwave oven features a heavy-duty door with a grab-and-pull handle The stainless steel interior is sealed and features a recessed ceramic shelf on the bottom to minimize plate-to-shelf edge contact and reduce the time it takes to clean up spills. The removable air filter is highly accessible and has a clean filter reminder feature. For straightforward installation, the automatic voltage sensor adjusts to a 208- or 240-volt power supply.
