Equipped with a domed cover that accommodates larger cuts of meat and flips to function as a 10 1⁄4-inch skillet, the Lodge® L8DD3 Double Dutch oven is ideal for baking no-knead bread or preparing roasts. Built of seasoned cast iron, the base and lid provide consistent heat retention and support repeat use across various heat sources. Finished in classic black, the oven has a traditional look suited for both indoor and outdoor cooking. It measures 10 7⁄10 inches in diameter and 5 9⁄16 inches in exterior height, while the lid/skillet is 10 1⁄4 inches in diameter and 1 1⁄2 inches deep. This unit is induction ready and compatible with stovetops, ovens, grills, and campfires.

This double dutch oven is two pieces in one, a pan and a pot. Going camping? This will cook many things. Great slow cooker. It will hold a tall roast real nice. love it !
Iron is Hot
The skillet lid has many functions such as to prepare or keep warm two items on one burner, thus freeing a burner for other cooking.
Great Multi-Purpose Dutch Oven!
I tried a peach pie in the cover of this "Double Dutch" and used the barbeque grill as an oven (I'm not allowed in the kitchen). It turned out fantastic owing to the even distribution of heat. Clean-up was a breeze as well. I would recommend this item to anyone, novice or pro.
Super-handy 5 qt. Double Dutch
Weight may be a cleaning inconvenience, but this Lodge cast iron most excellently serves more than simple intended use! Often I will use this one piece rather than several smaller pans.

This is a great Dutch Oven
You can't get any better than order the pan early one day. Cook with the pan late the next day. I just live one state away - but thats still good.
Perfect for baking bread
I have searched for the perfect dutch oven in order to make bread. The Lodge 5 qt double dutch oven gives the the required height to accommodate a rising loaf and the cast iron distributes and maintains heat for a perfect loaf of bread every time.
