Finally I found my dream opener!
Very easy to use. Love not having sharp edges to cut my employees or lids that drop into the food product. Best of all, can move opener from one table to another. Easy to use. Well worth the money. Employees love it!
outstanding opener
Every year, I run the kitchen for a two-day fund raiser at a Christmas craft fair. The kitchen, which is part of a community center. was built to professional standards, but has some major gaps in tools and smaller equipment, which i have to bring in myself. Since one of the items I make for the festival is chili, in two-gallon or larger batches, I am opening a lot of #10 cans of vegetables. A hand-held can opener doesn't work well on a can that big, especially now that I have developed arthritis in one hand, and last year we had a batch of especially tough cans that were almost impossible to get open with a smaller hand-held opener, , wasting huge amounts of time. Enter the CanPro. I like the side-cut opener, which is neater and much more sanitary than a conventional opener; I have used side-cut openers at home for years. The CanPro is solidly built, and works flawlessly. I chose the under-counter clamp model so that I can move it to any location where I cook (I also do occasional. catering.) The opener is easy to take apart and clean, and parts are readily available, should something need replacement. The only downside I can think of is the price, which is high, but you folks have the best price anywhere,
