To provide heat, the Turbo Air TAHP-12-2 Radiance gas hotplate uses two 32,000-BTU burners that are controlled by adjustable standing pilots. The burners have a two-piece, detachable construction that eases the cleaning process. Made of cast iron, the heavy-duty grates sit over the burners to hold cookware, and each grate measures 12 inches by 12 inches. Heat is directed to the cooking surface with the grooved design of the grates, while pots and pans can conveniently slide across the grates without the operator needing to lift them.
Designed with a 4-inch ledge, this Turbo Air TAHP-12-2 hotplate makes it convenient to transfer food from the cooktop to front. Cleaning this unit is straightforward because the full-width grease pan is removable. Constructed of stainless steel, the exterior of this unit is durable and can be wiped clean. It is elevated off the counter by 2-inch stainless steel legs—a design that reduces heat contact with the countertop.
