The APW SM-50-7 ULS drop-in food warmer accommodates a circular 7-quart inset for holding soup, stew, chili, curry, or sauce. Though this unit is compatible with wet and dry holding, adding water can improve results. Tubular heating elements built beneath its warming pans heat quickly and evenly, while integrated high-temperature limits reduce the risk of overheating. Operators can adjust temperatures with the recessed, front-mounted thermostatic controls as menus change, and when the unit reaches desired temperatures, an indicator light glows.

Operators can install this APW SM-50-7 ULS circular food warmer into a countertop cutout, and an E-Z lock is included to simplify and expedite setup. It measures 10 1⁄16 inches in diameter by 9 1⁄2 inches high overall, and its heavy-gauge stainless steel deep-drawn warming pan resists rust, corrosion, and repeated heating and cooling. Because this unit isn't insulated, it's best suited to warm settings and short-term holding applications.
