The American Range AECB-34 countertop charbroiler uses self-cleaning, natural volcanic rock to deepen and enhance authentic char flavor while providing LP gas power's convenience and temperature control. When grilling on its heavy-duty, cast iron grill grates, juices from the meat drip down onto the volcanic rocks, producing flavorful smoke and flames that create the classic charbroil flavor many customers enjoy. To minimize flare-ups, the grates can be angled upwards so hot fat runs down the cast-in grease runners when cooking fatty cuts of meat.

Cast iron burners in the American Range AECB-34 heavy-duty lava rock charbroiler are spaced every 9 inches to ensure uniform heating; each burner can be controlled individually so the user can cook multiple items simultaneously. The removable, sectioned top grate facilitates thorough cleaning and the stainless steel front and trim can be wiped clean between uses. A full-length grease trough collects fat runoff and drains it into a removable pan to prevent buildup in the cooking area.
