Cooper 93086-K Description
The Cooper Atkins 93086-K Type K Food Service kit includes the 38653-K VersaTuff thermocouple and three different probes for performing a number of routine temperature-taking tasks. The 50012-K bell surface probe is designed to measure the surface temperature of cooking equipment like griddles, skillets, and braising pans. The 50209-K microneedle probe measures the interior temperature of foods, and is especially well-suited for solid and semi-solid items including proteins and side dishes. For measuring the interior temperature of equipment, the 50306-k oven probe features a 43-inch-long cable and a clip for mounting inside equipment.
The VersaTuff instrument included in the Cooper Atkins 93086-K kit is capable of measuring temperatures across a wide -40 - 1832 degree F range, depending on which probe it's being used with. The unit accepts all types of thermocouple probes with a standard mini connector. The 0.6-inch LCD display outputs temperature readings in 1-degree increments. To preserve the life of the included AA battery, the unit will shut off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
