Gold metal mixer-2 blades
I've used this for coating my popcorn for my business for 3 years and has done an excellent job. Mine came with a double paddle instead of the one shown with a single. We also had 30 some flavors too, and never had a problem. Easy to clean, doesn't take much room, very quiet. If I was still in the kettle corn business I would buy another one or two.
Not the best product for making popcorn
Before purchasing this product I called KaTom and asked all kinds of questions so that I was sure to purchase the right product for my popcorn business. I asked if the mixer would be feasible for any topping of popcorn. I was told by at least 2 different representatives/sales person "Yes." It turns out,?that it isn't true. This mixer is only good for mixing cheese flavors. It was a waste of my money as I hardly use it. I have over 15 different flavors and this mixer only does the job of 1% of my business production. I was very disappointed in this mixer. Oh and getting a dented plus non working blazer didn't help either. I had to take it to a repair shop to get it fixed before I could even use it - and had I known it was only good for mixing cheese, I wound have never wasted my time taking it to a repairman. I would have just returned it altogether. LaTom did pay for the repair, but none of my experience with this company nor the purchase of this item was worth it. I'm out of almost $450 for a product I hardly use. Very disappointing!!!
Cheddar Easy Machine
I bought the Cheddar easy machine to use for kettle corn flavoring. I used it to gloss kettle corn with strawberry, caramel, chocolate and a host of other flavors. Works great! Easy to clean, quiet, and holds a lot of popped corn. We put 60 cups of popped corn in it and there was room for another 60 cups.
