For holding muffins, bagels, and other snacks at safe serving temperatures, the Nemco 6455-2 hot food merchandiser's tubular heating element can reach temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Operators can adjust cabinet temperatures with the control panel's thermostat, while a temperature gauge provides an accurate readout. Because foods can dry out when displayed at high temperatures for long periods of time, this case includes a water reservoir that generates the required humidity to preserve foods' original textures.
The Nemco 6455-2 heated merchandiser measures 22 1⁄4 inches wide by 22 1⁄4 inches deep by 33 7⁄8 inches high for countertop use, and its illuminated, tempered glass case ensures a clear view of displayed contents at point-of-sale areas to increase impulse purchases. For lasting durability, its stainless steel frame resists wear, rust, and corrosion and is simple to wipe clean. This pass-thru configuration lets employees load fresh items into the back, and customers can choose their purchase from the front. When the front door is open, users can turn the rack in either direction to reach desired product.
