InSinkErator SS-1000-6-CC101 Description
Outfitted for trough installation, the InSinkErator SS-1000-6-CC101 disposer package features a No. 6 collar adaptor and a 6 5⁄8-inch inlet. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel grind chamber is fitted with stationary and rotating nickel chrome alloy shredding components set for reverse-action grinding to improve durability. Its 10-horsepower induction motor runs at 1,725 RPM in a fully enclosed housing designed to keep out moisture, supported by internal airflow cooling and built-in thermal overload protection. Double-tapered Timken roller bearings help minimize vibration, and a triple-lip seal with a spring-loaded oil seal shields the motor from grease and water intrusion. The programmable CC101 control panel provides timed run, post flush, and reversing modes, while the chrome-plated, paint-free exterior promotes lasting sanitation. For installation, the package comes equipped with a syphon breaker, solenoid valve, and flow control valve to manage water delivery and backflow prevention.
