Its 3 3⁄4-inch vertical step ensures flush alignment with tile flooring, while a perimeter flange secures the base to the subfloor for reliable structural integration.
In addition to its sealed construction, the Advance Tabco FTG-2442 floor trough includes stainless steel subway-style grating that supports consistent foot traffic. The grating’s solid 3 3⁄16-inch by 1-inch bars are spaced 9 9⁄16 inches apart to enable steady drainage. Beneath the grating, a handled strainer basket captures solid waste and helps reduce plumbing clogs during heavy-volume operation.
