It's constructed of polypropylene—a material that's lightweight and resists breaking. It comes in light brown, enhancing product presentation. To hide scratches and create a nonslip grip, the surface has a basketweave pattern. Stacking lugs in the base secure trays in stacked configurations with proper airflow.

Carlisle Cafeteria Tray.
I bought these trays about 2 or 3 years ago in two sizes. They are not fancy but look nice, practicable, strong and sturdy. A small size 9" by 12" as a breakfast/lunch tray. A larger 12" by 14 1/2" for dinner. (Inside measurements) We have enjoyed both.Not a day goes by that I don't use them for one thing or another. Great for cook outs, put all the plates, cups, napkins, cutlery, salt and pepper on one, all condiments on another. I've used them for craft making. Today I am ordering a set for my daughter, son and grand daughters because I know they too will enjoy using them as I have. .
Great color
Though I recieived this order several days after an other item ordered at the same, these trays fit my bill. Since I have no dining table, they are used to move food to eating area--their light weight makes them perfect.
