The Carlisle 4350305 Dallas Ware® salad plate is made of strong melamine to withstand heavy use. Since the dish is temperature insulated, it does not draw hot or cold temperatures from the food, and it is red to stand out on the tabletop. Though it is dishwasher safe, it is not microwave safe since the material can chip and peel at high temperatures.
