Wood Cutting Boards
Wooden cutting boards are ideal for cutting breads, and delicate fruits and vegetables. They're easy on knives, making them a popular choice for many chefs. Wood does tend to absorb more bacteria than synthetic alternatives, so these boards are to be carefully hand washed with soap and not-too-hot water, then allowed to air dry. Wood boards have the advantage of self-healing smaller cuts. Many varieties also have natural antiseptic properties.
