Wall safes, as their name implies, are designed to be built into a wall, which allows for them to be hidden behind another object for increased security. They must be installed in a wall that is at least two-inches by four-inches thick, a criteria that most residential and commercial structures meet. These are a good choice to hold important documents, files, jewelry, and small firearms.

Hotel safes were once a room feature advertised on motel road signs, but are now something guests expect. The units we offer have keypads that allow each new room occupant to program in his or her own special code, as well as a card swipe that can be used to allow access with a room key. Each is secured with heavy-duty steel bolts, which are concealed to prevent tampering and unauthorized access.

Under-desk safes can be anchored to the floor or the underside of a counter with bolts so they cannot be easily removed. These are primarily used to enable employees to make quick deposits in a retail or restaurant environment without them having access to the safe. They can also be used for other types of secure deposit storage, such as a drop box for hotel guests to leave room keys in as they leave.

Pharmacy safes are designed for use in the eponymous establishments, where it is frequently necessary to secure large amounts of certain prescription and controlled medicines. Electronic locks on these units allow for programming of two codes, one for a manager and one for other users that can easily be changed to prevent access by those who are no longer authorized to be in the safe.

Interior Size

After you decide which type will work best in your establishment, the next consideration is size. Dimensions are given in both interior cubic feet and interior dimensions, which allows you to determine if it will accommodate what you need it to hold. Because these models have a compact exterior, they typically have less than one cubic foot of interior space. Interior dimensions of wall units are between one and two feet high and wide, but only a few inches deep at most. Under-desk models have more variation, but are typically smaller than one foot in all three dimensions. Measure the largest items you intend on storing in your safe to ensure you'll have room for them.

Lock Type

Our wall safes offer access by keypads and concealed emergency key access, while our hotel safes can be accessed using a keypad, card swipe, or concealed emergency key access. Under desk safes are secured with dual-key locks, which require both keys to open. All pharmacy safes have programmable keypads with codes for a manager and users.
