Both Lodge griddles and grill pans are made of cast iron and require the same cleaning and care as other Lodge cast iron products. Pieces should be washed by hand with light soap and a nylon scrub brush, dried thoroughly, and seasoned with cooking oil after each use. Never put Lodge griddles or grill pans in the dishwasher or soak them in water, as this can ruin the seasoning and promote rusting.
