Leer Ice Merchandisers

Each Leer ice merchandiser features eco-friendly insulation measuring 2¹⁄₂ inches thick on the walls and ceiling and 3 inches thick on the floor. Leer merchandisers may feature weather-, humidity-, and rust-resistant paint; electronic temperature controls; and an automatic defrost feature, which stops ice from accumulating on interior walls. Doors made of steel or glass give customers easy access to the ice bags, while spring-assisted hinges ensure they are not left open. The size of a Leer ice merchandiser is measured by how many 10-pound ice bags it can store, with capacities ranging from 50 to 260 bags.

Leer indoor ice merchandisers have bright white interior finishes and internal LED lighting. The doors of indoor units are glass, which is tempered and insulated to reduce the amount of heat transferred from the glass to the ice bags, and have aluminum frames. Leer outdoor ice merchandiser doors are made of galvanized steel to protect the unit from the elements and insulate the ice, with stucco embossing on the inside of the doors. Outdoor merchandiser units may be available with shorter, slanted profiles to make retrieving bags of ice easier.

Reach-in storage freezers and ice vending machines from Leer Inc can be used indoors and outdoors. Storage freezers are two-door units with white finishes and LED interior lighting, and they come with adjustable shelves that can hold up to 100 pounds each. Leer Inc's ice vending machines – which have self-locking doors, card readers, and remote monitoring capabilities – are available with 80- and 200-bag capacities.
