To find the right Jet Tech dishwasher for your foodservice operation, you must first consider how many dishes you will be washing per hour at your busiest time of day. Undercounter dishwashers are able to wash as few as 20 to as many as 37 racks per hour depending on the model. Door-type dishwashers are able to work a little faster, washing 30 to 52 racks per hour, and some of these models are also able to accommodate larger dishes than are able to fit in an undercounter model. The conveyor dishwasher can wash up to 210 racks per hour and is recommended for high-volume operations. If you will only be washing glasses and pitchers, you may wish to consider a rotary glasswasher.
If you decide to purchase an undercounter dishwasher, you will also need to consider whether you want to use high-temperature or low-temperature sanitization. Most of Jet Tech's dishwashers use high temperature sanitization and include built-in boosters to ensure water reaches the required temperatures during the rinse cycle. The company does offer a low-temperature model that uses chemical sanitization with built-in chemical pumps.
