When Diversified Ceramics was initially founded by Roy Carpenter and Jack Hoon, the small operation offered just two coffee mugs. Today, the family-owned company employs second- and third-generation Carpenters and Hoons. From coffee mugs manufactured using a one-piece construction that ensures a durable handle to rarebits and au gratin dishes made to stand up to both freezer and oven temperatures, Diversified Ceramics offers reliable dishes and dinnerware that have a place in almost any foodservice application.

Diversified Ceramics dinnerware is made of fully vitrified china, meaning the material is stronger, shinier, and unlikely to absorb moisture from foods or beverages. This helps prevent damage to the ceramic and keeps flavors from transferring between dishes. Each ceramic dinnerware piece is also free of lead, single fired, and manufactured in the United States. These ceramic pieces are all microwave and oven safe and are easy to clean. The strong vitrified coating makes this dinnerware fully dishwasher safe. Diversified Ceramics offers pieces in classic colors such as white, black, Loredo drip, and brown, as well as plenty of more vivid options. Some items come with a Black Iron finish, replicating the look of cast iron without the weight and upkeep.
