Dinner Fork

Dinner forks measure between 7 and 8 inches in length, and are placed to the left of the plate in traditional table settings as the inner-most fork. They're one of three essential pieces that every restaurant should have plenty of on hand, along with the table spoon and the table knife. They may have pointed or rounded tips, and some have serrated edges for cutting dense food.
