CookTek Delivery Bags: What You Need to Know

Maintaining the integrity of food while it is delivered to a customer's doorstep can be difficult. Traditional delivery bags can leave certain food items cold and even soggy when delivery times are longer than a few minutes.

CookTek delivery bags are the perfect solution for operations facing these issues. Whether you're delivering pizzas using in-house drivers or sending out burgers and fries through a co-op service, CookTek delivery systems will give your at-home patrons a dining experience as close to that of in-house guests as possible.

CookTek offers two delivery systems, each using countertop chargers to heat machine-washable nylon bags with induction. The CookTek thermal delivery system is exclusively designed for holding a maximum of three pizzas in 16- or 18-inch bags. The ThermaCube system consists of larger, cube-shaped bags capable of holding numerous other foods, including pizzas.

Operation is simple. Delivery bags contain an induction-ready piece that heats up when placed on a countertop charger. A red light informs operators the bag is charging, and it turns green when charging is complete.

In CookTek pizza bags, a FlashPak Disc reacts with the induction charger and then emanates heat. In the larger cube-shaped bags, a circular 3-dimensional pellet tray with a vented polycarbonate casing accomplishes this function, providing natural convection to combat humidity. These trays are available in standard sizes, as well as +10% and +25% formats for increased levels of convection.

Both systems further combat humidity by enabling it to escape using VaporVent technology.

Delivery bags include order ticket windows for receipts and delivery addresses. Both sizes of pizza delivery bag can hold as many as three pizzas, and operators can separate ThermaCubes into two or four compartments using a hook-and-loop divider.

Common Questions About CookTek Delivery Systems

How long does it take to charge bags using CookTek delivery systems?

Initial charge time for CookTek delivery systems is about 2 minutes for the CookTek pizza thermal delivery system and about 3.5 minutes for the ThermaCube. Once charged, bags will retain some residual heat, making additional charge times much shorter.

Can I use any delivery bags with CookTek's systems?

CookTek delivery systems are only for use with proprietary bags. Additionally, these bags are not interchangeable between the CookTek pizza thermal delivery system and the CookTek ThermaCube system. Using incorrect bags, including incorrectly sized bags, can result in uneven heating, which may lead to damage.

Are FlashPack Discs and convection trays removeable?

The disks and trays in these delivery systems only need to be removed for cleaning or to be switched to a different bag. Delivery bags are machine washable, but induction disks and trays should be washed by hand and not placed in a dishwasher.
