Meat Cleavers

With a broad, heavy, square blade and a straight edge, cleavers are great for tasks such as butchering, chopping through tough bone and joints, opening lobsters, and much more. We sell several common meat cleaver knife sizes, from 6 to 12 inches in length. Some cleavers are rated by their weights, in terms of pounds and ounces. Experienced butchers know which weight cleaver is required for which job.
