Champagne Glasses & Flutes

Champagne glasses are ideal for serving sparkling wines and mimosas. Champagne flutes are one of the most popular glass styles, but glasses with a tulip shape are also available. Give your champagne a vintage vibe by serving it in a coupe glass instead. More

There are three different styles of restaurant champagne glasses: the champagne flute, tulip, and coupe (also known as a saucer). Each glass type serves a different purpose for your beverages. It's possible to buy any style of champagne glass in bulk for your establishment, but the most used champagne glass is the flute. Its elongated, narrow bowl is designed to enhance the aroma and maintain the drink's bubbles. The tulip glass resembles the flute; however, the shape of the bowl is different. The wider midpoint of the glass is designed to let bubbles rise without compromising carbonation and aroma.

Speakeasy-themed lounges or bars offering certain styles of mixed drinks may favor the champagne coupe, which features a shallow, broad bowl. This style was popular in the United States in the early-to-mid 1900s and was traditionally used to serve sweeter champagnes and sparkling wines. Coupe champagne glasses can enhance a drink's aroma and lend a vintage feel to the beverage, but may not showcase classic champagne bubbles as well as other styles.
