Carlisle OptiClean dish racks are made of heat-resistant polypropylene plastic, which withstands temperatures between -40 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The honeycomb design that's also included in the double-wall construction ensures durability while enabling sufficient water flow inside dishmachines.

Full-size racks are 19.75 inches wide and long with four-way tracking and handles to fit in any commercial dishmachine without rotation. The standard height for racks is 3.25 inches, although certain racks may be higher depending on their purpose. Flat grids for holding items in place and Carlisle rack extenders that measure 1.75 inches high are also available for full-size Carlisle dish racks and glass racks.

What types of racks are available?

Carlisle offers interchangeable, stackable dish racks that accommodate various dishes, containers, and utensils.

• Peg rack: Carlisle peg racks have 2.5- or 3-inch-long pegs that are ideal for holding plates and trays. Racks may have walls on each side or include one open side for accommodating irregular or long items.
• Glass rack: Carlisle glass racks come in two compartment styles – circular NeWave or square – that both include the option for matching extenders. These racks can hold 16, 20, 25, 30, 36, or 49 glasses. Racks with the most compartments hold smaller-sized juice and champagne glasses, and racks with the least compartments hold items such as large cocktail glasses and bowls. Plastic tumblers fit in racks with 30 or 36 compartments. Carlisle glass racks in the NeWave style feature rounded glass compartments that hold more equivalent-sized glasses than a square-compartment rack.
• Open racks: These Carlisle dish racks come with either compact holes in the base for use with flatware and other utensils or holes with more space for quicker drainage when cleaning bowls, cookware, and containers.
• Specialty racks: These wire racks are each specially designed for items such as plate covers, food pans, and bakery trays and sheets and may include open ends.
• Half-size racks: In addition to full-size open racks, Carlisle also offers open half-size racks that are 19.75 inches long and 10 inches wide. What colors are available?

Operators can use a Carlisle glass rack dolly to transport stacks of racks. These dollies hold a maximum of 300 or 350 pounds and are available with or without a handle. Choose from models with an open frame or a drainable water trap at the base.
