Camdollies enable users to load hundreds of pounds of food, dishes, or equipment, which can then be easily transported utilizing the casters on the bottom. Depending on the size of the Cambro dolly, these casters will be 3, 4, or 5 inches in diameter; some models also feature casters that lock or swivel.
While Camdollies are convenient in any foodservice operation, they're especially useful in catering situations where staff are required to quickly set up and break down equipment and temporary service areas. These Camdollies are stacked with food pan carriers, glasses, dishware, pizza dough boxes, and other items and are then easily transported to the intended area. The swivel casters (along with the built-in handle on some models) ease steering, while the locking casters ensure the Camdolly stays where it needs to be instead of rolling away when it's not in use.
