Vanilla Bourbon Cranberry Sauce Recipe
- 1 12-ounce bag of cranberries
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot and bring to a boil. Allow sauce to lightly simmer for 10-15 minutes. Be sure to stir every few minutes to guarantee the mixture does not stick to the pot. After 10-15 minutes, remove from heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving. This sauce can be serve cold, room temperature, or hot.
