Salted Maple Honey Bacon Caramel Treats Recipe
- 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- sea salt
Like a square baking dish with aluminum foil and oil well. In a sauce pan, heat the condensed milk, brown sugar, maple syrup, butter, cream, and honey over medium heat while stirring continuously.
Stir mixture until candy thermometer reads 245 degrees F. Once you have reached the appropriate temperature, remove the mixture from the heat and mix in crumbled bacon.
Pour the entire mixture into the prepared baking dish and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Sprinkle the top with salt and allow to cool for several hours.
Once cooled, cut and serve.
