Orange Glazed Tempeh Recipe


  • 1 package tempeh
  • 1 orange, segmented
  • 4 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tsp. ginger chopped
  • 3 tsp. sesame seeds
  • Olive oil


Steam tempeh for 20 minutes, and place in refrigerator until chilled.

In a blender or food processor, blend ginger, garlic, crushed pepper, orange segments, sesame seeds, pepper, and soy sauce until smooth.

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat, and add tempeh. Toss tempeh to coat. Cook tempeh until browned on both sides.

Pour orange glaze over tempeh and toss. Serve orange glazed tempeh with brown rice and seasonal veggies.
