Crown Steam SCX-2-10 (6) Pan / (1) Kettle Convection Steamer - Cabinet, Steam Coil

The Crown Steam SCX-2-10 steamer and kettle sits on top of a full-perimeter, painted angle frame constructed of stainless steel. This base is 48 inches wide, supports a 10-gallon kettle and 6-pan steamer, and houses the steam coil boiler and controls. This boiler is used to produce steam and the user can monitor and adjust its operation using its controls. Automatic blowdown prevents debris from gathering on the boiler and hindering its operation.

The Crown Steam SCX-2-10 steamer and kettle unit provides two different pieces of equipment for steaming: one 10-gallon kettle and one two-compartment steamer. The kettle can be filled using the swing nozzle in the integral sink. The steamer can hold six 12-inch by 20-inch food pans, and the stainless steel pan supports are removable for cleaning. A drip trough made of stainless steel is connected to a drain for collecting condensate when the door is opened. The steamer's controls include an illuminated on/off switch and 60-minute timer with an audible signal. Cook times are controlled independently by a ready pilot light and pilot cooking light.
