Crown Steam GLT-40 40 gal. Steam Kettle - Manual Tilt, 2/3 Jacket, Liquid Propane

The Crown Steam GLT-40 steam kettle is made of durable stainless steel, and its interior is lined with 316 stainless steel to help prevent corrosion when it's used with tomato sauce and other acidic foods. To retain hot air, the kettle is insulated, and using thermostatic controls, operators can adjust the temperature between 165 to 275 degrees Fahrenheit depending on need. For stability, this unit is mounted on flanged legs, and its legs measure 1⁵⁄₈ inches in diameter.

The bottom two thirds of the Crown Steam GLT-40 tilting steam kettle fills with water for operation, and if it gets too low, a light and window will inform users that it needs to be refilled. To empty the kettle contents, this unit tilts 90 degrees when the manual crank is turned. If water gets too low, it will automatically shut off, and for additional safety measure, this kettle has a gas shut-off valve and pressure relief valve.
