Crown Steam GLT-30 Description
The Crown Steam GLT-30 steam kettle has thermostatic controls that can be adjusted between 165 and 275 degrees Fahrenheit. For steaming, the bottom two thirds holds water, and a sight glass and indicator light show when it needs to be refilled. If the water levels get too low, the unit automatically shuts off to prevent overheating, and for additional safety, the kettle also has a gas shut-off valve and pressure relief valve.
Because the unit is insulated, hot air won't escape from the Crown Steam GLT-30 tilting steam kettle. To withstand acidic products such as tomato and barbecue sauce, the interior liner is made of 316 stainless steel, while the exterior is also made of durable stainless steel. For emptying cooked product, this unit tilts past 90 degrees with a manual hand crank, and this unit is mounted on legs with flanged feet for stability.
