The Crown Steam GCX-2-6-6 convection steamer and kettle combination is designed for high-volume commercial kitchens, providing efficient cooking and steaming in a single gas-powered unit. This model includes two cooking compartments, each equipped with a 6-gallon kettle and the capacity to hold three 12-inch by 20-inch pans per compartment. The gas-fired steam boiler operates at 9 to 11 PSI, ensuring consistent steam production for reliable performance. Its stainless steel construction enhances durability while simplifying maintenance.
The Crown Steam GCX-2-6-6 convection steamer features electronic ignition for efficient startup and an automatic blowdown system to maintain optimal boiler efficiency. Each compartment includes a 60-minute mechanical timer with a ready pilot light and an audible signal to indicate the end of the cooking cycle. For added convenience, it's equipped with a deck-mounted faucet valve, a swing nozzle, and an integral sink. Removable stainless steel pan supports and a stainless steel drip trough facilitate easy cleaning. Additionally, a built-in water treatment system and split water line ensure high steam quality while extending the life of the equipment.
