Crown Steam ES-40 Description
The Crown Steam ES-40 tilt skillet holds 40 gallons of food, is made of durable stainless steel, and designed to serve as an ideal addition to high-volume restaurants and cafeterias. The unit can be used to cook a variety of recipes, from burgers or large batches of stew. The sides are etched with gallon markers to help measure ingredients, while the corners are coved to prevent buildup and promote even heating.
Tilting of the Crown Steam ES-40 skillet is done via a manual crank located on the front of the unit, and to reduce the need for maintenance, the self-contained gear box remains permanently lubricated. The thermostat features an off position, an indicator light, and automatic shutoff when the temperature reaches 536 degrees Fahrenheit. The elements shut off when the skillet is tilted past 5 degrees. This unit heats from 160 to 445 degrees Fahrenheit.
