Its self-locking crank tilt mechanism allows the kettle to tilt forward a full 90 degrees for complete emptying, while a trunnion and out-bore bearing provide smooth pivoting action.

For user convenience, the Southbend KELT-100 tilting kettle features a faucet bracket and removable heating elements for easy maintenance. Its integrally mounted control panel includes a power switch, thermostat, pilot light, low water light, vacuum and pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and low water shutoff for seamless operation. The kettle’s hemispherical bottom enhances heat circulation, while its welded stainless steel exterior ensures easy cleaning. The factory-sealed steam jacket is pre-filled with treated water, eliminating the need for refilling.
