Southbend KELS-80 Description
With a capacity of 80 gallons, the Southbend KELS-80 steam stationary kettle helps users prepare large quantities of food in cafeterias and institutional settings. To add ingredients to the kettle, users can open its spring-assisted lid, and when its contents are ready to be removed, users can open the 2-inch draw-off valve.
The Southbend KELS-80 steam kettle has a cooking temperature range of 165 to 285 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure the entirety of the kettle's large interior is heated uniformly, the lower 2⁄3 is surrounded by a steam jacket. So no external steam source is needed, this jacket is filled with distilled water and sealed at the factory.
