Crown Steam CSE-6 Description
The six-pan capacity of the Crown Steam CSE-6 pan steamer provides ample space for large batches of food items and can accommodate a variety of pan sizes including (12) 1-in.-deep pans, six 21/2-in.-deep pans, four 4-in.-deep pans, or two 6-in.-deep pans. This steamer is designed for countertop installation, which can be a valuable feature for foodservice establishments with limited floor space. Constructed of 304 stainless steel, this steamer is resistant to rust, dents, and abrasions that can appear as a result of consistent use. The interior is made of 316 stainless steel and has a nonstick, porcelain enamel finish that lessens the appearance of wear and tear. For efficient servicing and maintenance, this steamer has a simple pull-out design.
The Crown Steam CSE-6 pan steamer has one insulated door with a full-perimeter gasket seal to conserve heat while keeping the exterior cool to the touch. This door has a spring-release, hands-free door latch and a clean water reservoir system to keep food out of the water. To facilitate food preparation, this unit is equipped with heat and clean probe indicator lights along with a 60-minute timer. This steamer has a four-position cooking mode selector that permits users to choose between soft poach, traditional steam, high-heat steam, and off. This steamer can reach a maximum temperature of 230 degrees Fahrenheit and has an automatic steam shutoff to protect users from burn hazards.
