Because the VacMaster™ 30777 vacuum chamber seal bags are FDA approved and BPA free, they can be safely used with food. The bags come in a box of 1,000 and measure 12 inches long by 9 inches wide. Each bag is 3 millimeters thick and made out of high-gloss material. To ensure a tight seal, the bags can be closed with any vacuum chamber sealer, but they cannot be used with an external suction vacuum sealer.
