This Imbera VRD37 refrigerated merchandiser is separated into two sections and features 10 flat wire shelves that measure 20¹⁄₂ inches wide by 20⁵⁄₈ inches deep each to accommodate as many as (490) 20-ounce bottles. To improve product presentation, the interior has a sleek, white appearance, and the LED lighting system highlights displayed contents without using as much energy as fluorescent lights. Two glass doors built into the unit's front contain low-E film to reduce condensation. One door is hinged right, while the other is hinged left, and both have a self-closing mechanism that ensures complete closure to prevent temperature fluctuations. To blend in with common convenience store and front-of-house restaurant decors, this 47³⁄₈-inch-wide by 30³⁄₈-inch-deep by 78⁵⁄₈-inch-high refrigerator has a black-painted steel exterior.

To ensure contents are stored in a safe environment, the Imbera VRD37 refrigerated merchandiser uses a BMAD refrigeration system, which cools the cabinet rapidly and effectively to maintain temperatures without maximizing energy usage. Electronic fan motors circulate air evenly, and integrated CFC- and HFC-free cyclopentane foam insulates the cabinet to preserve temperatures when the doors are opened for short periods of time or when the unit must be stored in warm environments. Users can adjust temperatures using the electronic temperature controller, which includes precision temperature control and intelligent control for defrost cycles and compressor performance. To maintain temperatures between 32 and 44.6 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit uses R290 refrigerant.
