The Breville BPZ820BSS1BUC1 Smart Oven® pizzaiolo countertop pizza oven mimics brick oven heating by using conductive, radiant, and ambient heat. While conductive heat warms the deck to char the pie's base, this oven's radiant heat system uses intense direct heat to create aesthetically pleasing leopard spots along the crust. To bake toppings without burning them, it uses convective heat to establish 750-degree-Fahrenheit ambient temperatures. Operators can set the Element iQ® system to one of the seven presets to establish an appropriate heating environment for effectively baking New York-style, wood-fired, frozen, thin and crispy, or pan pizzas. Once the pizza type is selected, heat is distributed amongst the three heating elements, and the integrated dual-oven sensors can emit various top and bottom temperatures. For additional customization, operators can use the manual mode to adjust deck and top temperatures, choose which heating elements to use, and select from crust-only or even-heat options.

Capable of accommodating a 12-inch-diameter pizza, the Breville BPZ820BSS1BUC1 pizza oven measures 18¹⁄₁₀ inches wide by 18¹⁄₂ inches deep by 10³⁄₅ inches high. This brushed stainless steel unit resists rust, corrosion, and wear for an extended service life, while its exterior is simple to wipe clean. For a simple, classic appearance, it sports a silver-colored body. During baking, the double-pane, heat-resistant front window and insulated heat chamber retain high temperatures inside the unit while keeping the exterior cool.
