The General GCHP-36-6LP hotplate’s heavy-duty trivets are made of cast iron to evenly conduct heat and are reversible for versatility and portability when needed. The unit includes a stainless steel front and aluminized body for corrosion resistance and durability, and its 4-inch legs can be adjusted as needed to keep the unit level during use.

The General GCHP-36-6LP countertop hotplate uses six cast iron burners for efficiency. The burners are manually controlled via heavy-duty knobs; users can also adjust the heat frequency via the front panel pilot adjustment. For simple cleaning after use, the unit is built with a recessed drip tray.
