Its self-contained refrigeration system simplifies installation, while its air-cooled compressor is ideal for settings with relatively low ambient temperatures. To streamline operation, this unit is built with user-friendly, programmable digital controls, a digital screen that display unit status and temperature, an automatic cleaning cycle, and bin overflow prevention.

The Maxx Ice MIM500N ice maker head measures 30 inches wide by 24³⁄₅ inches deep by 21 inches tall; it's made of long-lasting stainless steel that resists rust, wear, and corrosion to survive back-of-house applications. For a sleek, professional accent, its exterior sports a black trim. This modular unit can be fitted with a Maxx Ice MIB470N or MIB580N ice storage bin for convenient storage, and to increase production, it can be stacked with another ice machine head using an adapter (not included). When cleaning or servicing is required, users can directly access its internal components via the hinged front panel, and for proper installation, this ice maker requires a gravity drain line.
