For quick-service restaurants, casual eateries, or convenience stores selling soft drinks or bagged ice, the Maxx Ice MIM260NH self-contained ice machine produces half-cube ice. This type of ice can cool a drink quicker and displace more liquid than full-cube ice to save on beverage costs. When ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit can produce 265 pounds of half-cube ice per day. Its self-contained refrigeration system features an air-cooled compressor and a micro-fin condenser that uses less energy than standard ice machines. Because it's part of the Intelligent series, this unit built with an external digital screen that displays temperature and status when the unit is making ice, harvesting ice, or filling water. To ease maintenance, it features an automatic cleaning cycle and bin overflow protection.

Compatible with freestanding or built-in installation, the Maxx Ice MIM260NH undercounter half-cube ice machine measures 24 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 39 inches high and is front breathing. Because it's raised on adjustable 6-inch leveling legs, it can be adjusted to accommodate irregular or sloped flooring and minimize wobbling or rocking during operation. For lasting corrosion resistance and simplified cleaning, its exterior is made of rugged stainless steel accented with black trim to add a sleek, upscale accent matching existing equipment. Inside the unit, an integrated ice bin can store 75 pounds of ice, while its polyethylene liner is treated with an antimicrobial agent that inhibits microbial growth between cleanings for improved sanitation. To enhance visibility when staff scoop ice from the bin, the interior is illuminated with a blue LED light. A built-in internal scoop holder provides a safe, clean space to store the included ice scoop.
