The U-Line UCBF432-SS11A blast chiller is designed to reduce product temperatures rapidly—great for bulk food preparation in a dining hall or catering environment. The temperature can be adjusted from -40 to 3 degrees Fahrenheit using touchscreen controls; its alarm sounds if temperatures fluctuate from the set range. It's equipped with an automatic defrost and thawing function and its self-contained refrigeration system operates with R452A refrigerant.
To resist corrosion, the U-Line UCBF432-SS11A blast chiller freezer's sealed evaporator is epoxy coated. Its single section has enough room to hold five trays of food and it has chilling and freezing settings depending on need. This unit can bring product from 194 to 37.4 degrees Fahrenheit in 90 minutes and drops food temperatures from 194 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit in 270 minutes.
