With a sound-dampening nozzle design, the Excel Dryer XL-W-ECO-1.1N automatic hand dryer produces less noise than a standard hand dryer. For large bathrooms that require several hand dryers, this design prevents excessive noise during periods of heavy use. It moves air at high speeds with an energy-efficient design that reduces the consumption of electricity. Automatically timed to provide a 10-second cycle, the dryer provides short bursts of air to dry the user’s hands quickly. When used for extended periods of time, the dryer has an automatic lockout feature that prevents excessive wear on its motor.

Its exterior is finished with white epoxy over a zinc enamel base, giving the Excel Dryer XL-W-ECO-1.1N dryer a sturdy and stylish outer casing that keeps interior components protected. It has an infrared optical sensor that activates the dryer automatically when a user’s hands are placed beneath the beam, eliminating the need for users to touch the dryer. This design reduces touch points in the restroom, helping prevent the transmission of germs from one user to the next. Securing the cover to the base are tamper-proof bolts designed to prevent vandalism and damage to the unit. Built with a washable metal mesh air filter, the dryer has a sensor that alerts users if the filter becomes clogged.
