The Wusthof 1040101123 (formerly Wusthof 4152-7/23) Classic 9-inch bread knife has a double-serrated edge that effectively slices artisan bread and baguettes. Its long blade can slice through a significant surface area at once and can cut smaller bread slices thoroughly by using a rocking motion. Forged from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel, the blade and full tang ensure long-term slicing. Its construction wards off rust in humid environments and the blade's sharp edge is maintained for long periods. The triple-riveted, full tang sits between the polyoxymethylene handles for secure, bend-resistant cuts. Users have a comfortable grip on the curved, ergonomic handle to prevent slippage while handling the knife. It's also made of polyoxymethylene, which has a tight molecular structure that fends off discoloration and fading to retain its initial appearance. A full bolster doubles as a protective shield for users' fingers.
