Hobart FP400I-1 Description
Able to process 132 pounds of sliced and diced vegetables per minute, the Hobart FB400I-1 floor model food processor utilizes a two-horsepower motor that can be set to one of two speeds: 240 RPM or 480 RPM. It can support this amount of product due to its wide mouthed chute, allowing for mass amounts of onions and peppers to be inserted without clogging the machine. Its gear-driven transmission reduces electrical elements and helps prevent mechanical failure. Designed to be safe as well as efficient, it comes equipped with three safety interlocks that keep the unit from operating while its hopper and chute are disconnected. If users wish to fully utilize the unit, they will have to purchase a compatible Hobart hopper or bulk feeder.
The Hobart FP400I-1 continuous feed food processor utilizes a stainless steel construction for both its body and cutting surface, ensuring all parts are durable and easy to wipe clean. It measures 223/4 inches wide by 2711/20 inches deep by 473/5 inches tall, and two of its legs come with wheeled castors to ease transportation around a kitchen. The other two legs are stamped with rubber for added stability and scuff protection. To power the unit on and off, it features a green on and red off button.
